The QF type flasher is an electronic flasher designed for LED bulbs. LED bulbs are energy-efficient, but when switching from the off state to the on state, a massive current known as "inrush current" flows momentarily, which can be several hundred times the normal current. Therefore, using a standard flasher designed for incandescent bulbs with LED bulbs can risk damaging the flasher (such as overheating of the fuse, damage to the triac, or burning of the wiring). The QF type flasher is equipped with a protective circuit that significantly suppresses this inrush current for LED bulbs.
